Come and enjoy a day of practice in Chalfont St Peter
Amidst the busyness of life, gift yourself a retreat day of stillness and replenishment. Come and refresh, deepen and enjoy your practice.
The day will include a variety of guided practices e.g. sitting, walking and gentle movement, and plenty of poetry to inspire and touch your heart.
We will share a vegetarian lunch and there will also be time for discussion and sharing at the end of the day.
Please be aware that the bulk of the day will be in silence. The silence enables us to turn inward and listen more deeply to ourselves, allows us to sink more deeply into the practices and to share the support and beauty of sitting with others, without the need to engage in our usual social roles and obligations.
Participants report that despite initial reservations, the silence is unexpectedly nourishing and freeing.
This day is open to anyone who has completed an 8 week mindfulness course or who has an established practice.
